Love in the Romance Section
Anthony had always wanted to pursue a career in writing after college. We had been dating for more than seven years when he asked me to go to a poetry reading with him at a local bookstore. I didn't know what to think when we got there and there was no poetry reading. He led me to the romance section and pointed to a handmade book that said "Anthony and Bryanna" on it. I opened up the book and read about four poems he had written. I turned to the last page of the book where a ribbon with a diamond engagement ring, a platinum 3-carat princess-cut ring with baguettes on either side, was tied to the back cover. He asked me to marry him and I had no problem saying yes!
